ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm so glad you're here! My name is Mairin Blythe and I am the owner of Fur the Love of Dogs LLC. I have always been an animal lover, but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have worked with dogs for about five years and started in the daycare/boarding industry, where my love for pets grew exponentially. I loved nothing more than going to work to spend my days being surrounded by dogs of all sizes and breeds, learning their personalities, caring for them throughout the day and building bonds with all of them! It was a rewarding experience, but I felt a tug to want to do something more to care for them in other ways. And that's when my grooming journey began! I have been grooming for three years now and there's nothing I'm more passionate about than giving your fur baby the spa day they deserve. Unlike most groomers, I don't have a favorite breed to groom. I do, however, love a good de-shed and welcome all double coated breeds with open arms! I have experience working with dogs of all breeds and sizes and am dedicated to ensuring that your pet feels loved, comfortable and happy during the grooming process.

Outside of work you can find me at the dog park or exploring different walking trails with my lab mix, Dodger. I enjoy reading faith-based and self-help books, journaling, practicing calligraphy, and cheering on the Columbus Blue Jackets! I'm looking forward to meeting you and becoming the best of friends with your fur baby!

What type of spaw day does your dog need?

BASIC BATH: Starts with a full brush out to get rid of any pesky tangles, followed by a warm, sudsy soak with top of the line shampoo & conditioner. No cage drying here! I use a high velocity dryer so your pup's coat gets as dry and fluffy as paw-sible, followed by a nail trim!

HYGIENE TRIM: Includes everything in the Basic Bath service, as well as a sanitary trim, paw pad /feet trim, & face trim!

DE-SHED TREATMENT: A basic bath using de-shedding shampoo & conditioner that helps loosen undercoat and reduce shedding. Extra time is spent in the bath brushing, blow drying, and more brushing to get as much undercoat out as paw-sible!......$35

DE-SKUNK TREATMENT: A basic bath using charcoal and/or baking soda shampoo. Charcoal shampoo is formulated to detoxify and absorb minerals & toxins to help eliminate odor. Keratin is another included ingredient that provides conditioning and moisture to the skin and coat.....$45

FLEA BATH: A basic bath using Bio-Groom shampoo to get pesky fleas and ticks to bug off. Not only will it kill fleas & ticks, but with coconut oil-derived ingredients, offers a gentle cleansing that will condition your pup's coat and is safe for those with sensitive skin.....$35

NAIL FILE: Does your dog jump on you leaving scratches from sharp nails? Not anymore! This service ensures each nail is filed down to not only smooth out any 'ruff' edges, but also gets the nail as short as paw-sible.....$15

ANAL GLAND EXPRESSION: Although most dogs express their glands on their own, others need a little push! This service involves externally releasing fluid from the anal glands to help prevent discomfort and scooting.....$10
